Having tried out what feels like hundreds of different foundations, in search of the perfect colour, consistency and texture, I’ve finally found my ideal match. Charlotte Tilbury seems to do no wrong. I’ve tried a few of her other products before and loved them, so when my previous foundation ran out (No7 Beautifully Matte in ‘Cool Vanilla’), I decided to give Tilbury’s Magic Foundation a go.
The name says it all, it actually is magical. It’s demi-matte – ideal for combination/oily skin (which I have been blessed with…), but unlike other matte foundations, it’s not drying at all. It’s just the right amount of matte-ness, the texture is smooth, and although it is full coverage, you won’t get that cakey feeling. I sometimes forget I even have foundation on when I’m wearing this. It also lives up to the claim that it’s long lasting – I can wear this foundation all day and barely need to touch up, which really is a miracle.
So if you’re like me and have combination/oily, acne prone skin but you want a good coverage without it looking heavy, then Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation is definitely the one. And at the very reasonable price of £29.50, with 15 shades to choose from, you can’t really go wrong.
I’ve tried so many new foundations but haven’t found one that I really love yet, I’ll definitely give this one a try! Great post xx ❤️

Been meaning to try this for ages, sounds like there’s enough shades to find one to match my pale skin haha, great post ❤
